Trailer models
Transtyle Trailers aluminium boat trailers don’t rust and are lighter than similar steel or galvanised constructions. This gives them a higher payload and reduced weight, which facilitates the use of lighter and more economical towing vehicles. We build a wide range of models, right up to 4.5 tonnes, covering all different hull type boats, catamarans, yachts, RIBs and pontoons.

Standard Features
Chassis
All of our trailers are constructed using a marine grade 1 beam aluminium chassis, which is highly durable and will never rust. As well as being easy to maintain, it makes our trailers light, without any compromise to the product’s integrity. Unlike most other aluminium trailers that are welded at the joints, ours are bolted together using stainless steel bolts and nylon lock nuts. As a trailer moves, it flexes, and over time welded joints can crack or split, whereas the bolted method allows for more movement.
Axle and suspension
Every Transtyle Trailer is fitted with Transtyle Rubber Torsion Axles. This revolutionary suspension system replaces the outdated, heavy leaf spring system and the need for additional shock absorbers. It acts as suspension and damping, which reduces swaying at high speeds and is maintenance free.This Torsion system is fully independent and allows for the contoured bend in the centre of our axles. This, in turn, facilitates lower boat carrying, lower centre of gravity, and improved handling. Another unique feature is our grease exchange system, which ensures the efficient lubrication of the wheel bearings.
Brakes
For your total peace of mind, our trailers are all fitted with 1600psi electrically actuated disc-braking systems. They include heavy-duty vented rotors, Kodiak K225 calipers with stainless steel pistons, and flexible brake lines with stainless steel connectors.
Wheels and accessories
We don’t cut any corners when it comes to safety and style. Our trailers are fitted with stylish magnesium alloy wheels and 8 ply light truck style tyres for maximum road holding and safety under load. All trailer lighting is ADR standard LED, and winches and jockey wheels are fitted to suit the customers specific load requirements.
Boat support system
We offer several different types of boat support systems including wobble rollers, rollers and skids, or just skids. We can advise you as to which system will be best suited for your boat and your specific needs. Our modern skids are manufactured from 100% recycled polymer plastic that is both tough and durable. Skids make launch and recovery easier and are suitable for fibreglass and aluminium hulls. They are designed for marine use and are a far cry from the old fashioned carpet covered lumps of timber that rip and tear.

Our Aluminium Boat Trailer Range
